Sleeping in the Snow!

Sorry again for the delay in posts these last few days! We have been winding our way through through some remote areas lately and haven't had any access to wifi for a little while! But currently Taylor and our friend Mike are hiking somewhere up in the Grand Tetons so Jessica and I snuck away to a little coffee shop in Jackson Hole, Wyoming for a coffee treat and some computer time :) Unfortunately, Taylor also took our camera with him on their hike, so I will limit my updates to just this one post as the others will have some photos that I simply can't leave out!

After leaving Devil's Tower a few days ago, Taylor, Mike, Jessica and I decided to drive part of the way to Yellowstone and camp in an area called Big Horn National Park. If any of you have heard the news lately, the lovely state of Wyoming got quite a lot of SNOW recently, and yes, we were camping in it. All night long. That means waking up in shifts to bat the snow off of the tent so that the whole thing didn't collapse down on us in the middle of the night. Sounds like kind of a cool adventure, huh? Well, it wasn't all that great to be honest. It was -4 degrees outside and Jessica and I were not particularly amused by the whole experience. Until the morning maybe, once we were safe and warm in our cars and comfortably winding our way through the beautiful snowy landscape toward Yellowstone. :)
